In December 22, 2009,  Toyota Vietnam Foundation (TVF) officially announces to grant Toyota Scholarship for Vietnamese Young Music Talents 2009 for outstanding Vietnamese students specializing in musical majors from Art universities, which operate directly under Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

Along with Toyota Scholarship for students’ science, this is the first year Toyota Scholarship for Vietnamese Young Music Talents is implemented. With the purposes of more contributing to the development of Vietnam’s music as well as encourage and award excellent Vietnamese young music talents, Toyota Scholarship for Vietnamese Young Music Talents will grant 90 scholarships worth VND 3million per each for excellent musical students chosen from 5 music schools all over the country.

 Awarding ceremony of Toyota Scholarship for Vietnamese Young Music Talents 2009 will be held in 3 regions in turn: the North, the South, and the Centre. Speech at the ceremony, Mr. Akito Tachibana – Chairman of Toyota Vietnam Foundation, President of Toyota Motor Vietnam confirmed: “I do hope that, the program “Toyota Scholarship for Vietnamese Young Music Talents” will become a meaningfull activity to encourage studying spirit of students in music majors. Along with the sponsor of Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and the active support of Press and Media, we will try to make this program become more popular with larger scale.”
